Role Overview:

As an IT Support Technician at Parried, you will be pivotal in providing advanced technical support and tackling complex issues related to computer hardware, software, networks, servers, and cloud technologies. Your role involves monitoring, managing, and maintaining IT systems, collaborating with team members, and delivering high-quality customer service by resolving technical problems and documenting the troubleshooting process efficiently.

A typical day includes handling our support call queue, making and receiving calls to address client IT issues, and managing support tickets from inception to resolution. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying, analyzing, and solving technical challenges. It offers a dynamic work environment where you are continually learning and growing.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems across various technologies and platforms.
  • Provide clear and regular updates to clients, ensuring effective communication and documentation of results.
  • Support and mentor team members, serving as a technical resource.
  • Educate clients on system best practices to optimize their technology usage.


Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in hardware and software related to both Windows and Mac systems.
  • Experience with cloud services like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
  • Familiarity with security protocols, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT industry certifications preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.).


Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a relevant IT support role.
  • Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • At least two professional certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, etc.).
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup.
  • Access to reliable transportation for occasional onsite client visits.
  • Customer-focused, optimistic outlook, and sees challenges as opportunities for growth.
