DESCRIPTION
- The TRIO SSS STEM Tutoring Peer Tutor is a part-time position responsible to the Director of TRIO Programs for the following:
- Working in a group setting with students to identify and address their concerns.
- Guiding and supporting students toward independent learning.
- Reflecting and improving upon tutoring techniques by researching tutoring methods during downtime.
- Attend meetings.
- Conducting SSS STEM Tutoring Center workshops.
- Maintaining orderly appearance of the Center.
- Reporting problems and progress to the Coordinator or Director.
- Performing related duties as assigned.
- $9.00
- 18 hours a week MAXIMUM allowance to work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associates degree.
- Tutoring experience.
