Complete Care, a leading freestanding emergency room in Tyler Texas, is hiring an experienced Patient Access Specialist to support patient registration, medical insurance verification, and front desk operations. This PRN role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical customer service who thrives in a fast paced ER setting.

What You Will Do

• Greet patients and manage check in, registration, and front desk workflow
• Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and patient eligibility
• Enter demographic and insurance information into the EMR
• Answer phones, update patient records, and support clinical teams
• Collect required documentation and direct patients through the ER process
• Maintain organized patient flow during busy shifts
• Deliver high quality customer service to every patient and family

• One to two years of medical insurance verification experience
• Two to three years in medical customer service, front desk, or patient registration
• Previous experience in emergency care or urgent care preferred
• BLS certification from American Heart Association within sixty days of hire
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with EMR or EPM systems and MS Office
• Must be flexible for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
