Factory Location: Hawkins, TX
Compensation: $26.88/hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: 6:00pm - 6:30am on a 2-3-3 rotation

JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities of this position include maintenance, inspection, testing, and reporting of the wetlands wastewater discharge system.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily/Weekly/Monthly inspections such as: equipment condition, wastewater quality, and treatment system utilizing a variety of test procedures.
Weekly composite/grab sampling of parameters such as oil, grease, TSS, and pH
Monthly composite sampling for parameters such as TDS, Sulfite, & Chloride
Monitoring and follow-up of results from weekly & monthly wastewater sampling through use of onsite sampling and 3 rd party laboratory analysis
Maintaining inventory and condition of all neutralization chemicals & ensuring proper operation of the chemical dosing system
Continuous monitoring of wastewater flow to ensure compliance with average/maximum daily flow limits
Quarterly calibration of instrumentation such as pH probes, flow totalizers, and other measuring devices
Monitoring of compliance to SOPs for operational controls such as discharge volumes, storage pond level control, carbon bed backwashing, silo draining, cooling tower discharge, etc.
Responsible for inspections and preventative maintenance tasks for oil water separator, pH neutralization system, effluent storage pond, and wetlands
Responsible for forecasting and coordinating 3 rd party carrier tanker of excess wastewater.
Work with local experienced employee's to become expert of wastewater treatment system
Work On the CMF's , Water Process, Public Water and Well field systems as back up for CIP's and Maintenance work activity.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, sleet, snow, heat, etc.)
Knowledge of wastewater treatment operation is preferred.
Knowledge of compliance & regulatory requirements in regard to wastewater required.
SAP background preferred.
Basic knowledge of PLC equipment and basic computer skills
Must have proven experience in projects providing strong attention to detail.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and flexible to a changing environment
Some administrative experience preferred.
Be able to lift 35lbs above your shoulders.
Strong communication skills
High school degree or equivalent; Preferred two years further education or equivalent degree
Must be willing to work nights.
