Engages in assembling, packing and processing of goods by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Works on contracts daily. Performs a variety of jobs to ensure completion of contracts. Assists with warehousing (Pick and pack) and assembly jobs.

• Periodically supplies workstations with necessary materials for workers to begin/continue production.

• Ensure quality and performance standards of the consumer by examining materials and products at various stages of processing for conformance specifications.

• Works efficiently to ensure on time completion and quality of customer jobs.

• Interfaces with other departments to endure customer order deadlines are met. Assist other departments as needed to ensure timely completion of contracts.

• Assists with the setting up of machine, workstations and equipment.

• Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to production supervisor.

• Possible forklift driving.

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
