Performs routine work in answering phones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, and operating cash register.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general supervision of the Golf Professional according to an established work routine.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
None.
Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills

• Stocks and maintains merchandise, food and beverages.
• Gathers range balls from driving range.
• Cleans golf carts.
• Maintains and cleans the Pro Shop and restrooms.
• Receives the public and answers questions;
• Responds to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to appropriate persons.
• Serves as cashier: have the ability to count back change correctly.
• Balance cash drawer daily.
• Operates listed office machines as required.
• Assists in setting up, closing of Pro Shop.
• Sells various merchandise, food and beverages.
• Must be able to lift/carry 25 pounds without assistance.
• Work in all kinds of weather conditions: rain, heat, cold.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
• Walking, standing, sitting for long periods of time.
• Reach above head and shoulders
• Fine hand manipulation.
• All other duties assigned as deemed necessary.
• Regular attendance required.

Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Texas Drivers License is required.
Other Requirements:

Employment contingent on passing physical examination, fingerprint background check and drug screen.
