Initial job requirements will be as follows:Perform trim analysis as required for the PW Remanufacturing and PW610 manufacturing facilitiesPerform thrust load analysis as required for the PW Remanufacturing and PW610 manufacturing facilities as requiredMap pump case volutes and volute sectional areas as required and produce detail drawings of eachCollect critical hydraulic dimensions for existing impellers as requiredCreate volute modification drawings using new design data provided by the Assistant Engineering Manager/Hydraulics EngineerCreate case throat area drawings as required and create modified throat area drawings using new design data provided by the Assistant Engineering Manager/Hydraulics EngineerManage pump case volute modifications and impeller modifications performed by shop personnel as required by the Assistant Engineering ManagerGenerate 3D models of pump hydraulic components using SolidworksCreate fluid models using Solidworks which will be used for CFD analysis#LI-CB1, #zrcbQualifications of the Staff Engineer include, but are not limited to:Must Have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university programProficiency with SolidWorks, SolidWorks 2D and/or DraftSightExcel or other spread sheet program capabilitiesGood verbal and communicative skillsAdditional Information:Physical Demand: N/AWorking Conditions: Engineering officeTraining/Certifications: SolidWorks and Excel skillsis a plus.Shift Time/Overtime: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM M-F, there are occasions when they will have to work some overtime depending on the urgency of the project they are working on and/orto provide technical support to our manufacturing facilities, sales,and customers.Travel: Periodic travel toour manufacturing facilities, customer facilities, field serviceEducation: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university programLocation: USA:TX:TylerDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
