The Associate will assist with and, as experience allows, handle an active docket of matters, primarily supporting insurance defense and construction litigation matters while gaining exposure to the firm's broader civil litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career attorney who is eager to build practical courtroom and case management experience, while also providing a strong platform for more experienced candidates who are ready to take on increased responsibility. The firm offers flexible work arrangements that will be determined based on the candidate's experience, practice needs, and office alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other legal documentsPrepare client reports and case evaluationsAttend hearings, depositions, and mediations if necessaryAssist with case strategy and file managementSupport trial preparation and participate in trial as appropriateManage deadlines across multiple active mattersQualificationsJD from an ABA accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in the state of TexasMinimum 2 to 5 years of litigation experience preferredExcellent writing, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with a strong desire to grow as a litigatorWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K and more.
