Part-Time Laboratory Assistant, Biology

The Part-Time Laboratory Assistant, Biology is a part-time position responsible to the Life Sciences Department Chair. This is a part-time position and can work up to 18 hours per week.

What You Will Do

Essential Functions and Duties

• Setting up and taking down equipment/handouts needed for classes.
• Cleaning and storing of equipment.
• Inventorying of materials and equipment.
• Helping in the recovery of waste for disposal.
• Documenting amounts and types of waste recovered.
• Work as a team with professional and peer tutors to help and support each other.
• Attend required meetings.
• Report problems to the Department Chair.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Follow all policies and procedures established by the Center for Anatomy & Physiology Resource Room.
