Description:

SNELLING is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant for a well-established and growing East Texas Business Leader in the Tyler area with a pay rate of $20.00/hr. Schedule is Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM.

This Executive Assistant position will be temp-to-hire, meaning that while SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and Snelling would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted. This role requires someone who can anticipate needs, follow through on action items, and help ensure important projects and commitments move forward efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate a complex executive calendar.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and supporting documentation.
  • Accompany the executive to meetings as needed and assist with follow-up activities.
  • Review meeting notes, identify action items, and help drive completion of assigned tasks.
  • Track projects, deadlines, and commitments across multiple business entities.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support business decisions.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business communications.
  • Serve as a trusted professional resource, helping the executive stay organized, focused, and prepared.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and proactively support daily operations.
  • Coordinate travel, appointments, special projects, and other executive priorities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive, owner, president, or CEO is required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Professional presence and ability to interact with employees, leadership teams, clients, and community partners.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology tools.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and recommend ways to improve efficiency.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
